My Cognitive Behavioral Approach

Cognitive Behavioral Coaching (CBC) is an evidence-based approach to care that draws from cognitive behavior therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy. Read the research about this approach.

Based on your unique needs, I will teach you skills to live in alignment with your core values, recognize unhelpful thought patterns and replace them with beneficial ones, tolerate acute distress in the moment, and learn effective communication techniques.

I am a UC Davis-trained and International Coaching Federation (ICF)-certified coach. I follow the ICF Code of Ethics and participate in Continuing Coaching Education regularly to stay current on new trends in the coaching industry and maintain my certification.
